Taster Lesson Using The DSLR'
Today we had a taster lesson where we were shown how to use the DSLR Canon cameras we're hoping to use for our music videos. We were shown how to put together the camera and dismantle them. Additionally we were taught how to use the boom to record sound but we won't be using them . We were then taught what the settings on the camera were for and what they do. We each had a turn to play around with the focus and record function on the camera.Once we learnt how to function the camera we were put into groups and were told to film a video about ' A secret '. Our group done a secret on a girl who just found out she was pregnant and now the whole school has found out. Throughout the making of the film we had to include an over the shoulder shot and also a wide shot. It made me realise how heavy the camera was but also the quality of the camera made the film seem more professional and that's how I would want my music video to look like. At the end we showed our final unedited to the rest of the class. Personally it was a good experience as we are planning to use the DSLR'S
